Two Portraits of Sarah

Today’s post by Joe Farace

sarah.before I made the first portrait of Sarah Dean when I was testing the Olympus E5 Four-thirds system camera for Shutterbug magazine at Jack Dean Photography’s studio in 2010. The model that we had scheduled for the shoot failed to show up—it happens more than you might think—so Jack asked his daughters, Sarah and Abbie, to pose for me. They were great models!

sarah.after That’s my portrait of Sarah made in 2010 at upper right. At lest, is the portrait that I recently made of Sarah for a review that I wrote about Paul C. Buff’s lighting products for Shutterbug too.

It was made with a Panasonic Lumix GH4 and Lumix G Vario 14-42/F3.5-5.6 lens with an exposure of 1/125 sec at f/8 and ISO 200. You’ll be delighted to know that she remains the same wonderful girl that she was from that original shoot.
