Hidden Gems: Think Tank Turnstyle 10

Today’s Post by Mark Toal

Beginning a new series…

turnstyle10Hidden Gems are camera accessories that I wouldn’t want to live without. Camera accessories are addictive and it’s easy to buy too many cases, straps or even lenses. Well, maybe not lenses. I’ve started to look at the accessories that I go to all the time; the ones that just do what they are supposed do. Does this mean that I’m going to stop buying things like the leather wrist strap that cuts of my circulation? Not a chance. My goal in this series is to highlight the things I use all the time and would buy again.

My first choice is the Think Tank Turnstyle 10 sling bag. These camera bags are perfect for Mirrorless cameras. Small and very lightweight, the Turnstyle 10 easily holds two bodies with lenses or a body and up to three lenses. It also has a external zippered padded pocket at the back of the bag for a small (7.9-inch) tablet, SD cards and power bars.

I like the sling design better that a backpack since I can easily swing it around in front of me to get a lens without taking it off. It also converts from a sling bag to a belt pack. Think Tanks bags are also incredibly sturdy and they all come with rain covers. The build quality is simply great. And did I mention that they are fairly inexpensive compared to a lot of the new designer bags?
