Confessions of a Camera Snob

Today’s Post by Mark Toal

I like to think that I can shoot with any camera but last week I found myself on a business trip to LA without any of my favorites like the Panasonic GH4 or LX100. The only camera available was a Panasonic Lumix GF7. Don’t get me wrong this camera has great specs but it’s the entry-level model. What would I do without 4K and a two million-pixel viewfinder? Oh and did I mention that I only had the kit lens, the 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6.

The GF7 even has a selfie mode via a tilting LCD monitor. I may as well buy a selfie stick and a pair of Bermuda shorts and head to Disneyland.

I have to admit that I missed the viewfinder on the pier in Newport Beach in the bring sun; otherwise I was really impressed with this $599 entry level Mirrorless camera. I even took this selfie that I really like.
