From Joe: A lot of us are thinking about our waistline after our Thanksgiving feats. In today’s post Mark makes some suggestions that will both help us with our diet while having fun with photography at the same time.
Today’s Post by Mark Toal
Last week my pants lost a button on the same day that a cashier at Wal-Mart told me that the snack I was buying was pretty unhealthy. A cashier at Wal-Mart, really? My diet had hit a new low.
On Facebook I frequently post things that I don’t want to buy or eat that I call “photograph it, don’t buy it” or “photograph it, don’t eat it.” Now I’m going to try to apply it to a plan to lose weight.
The idea is to enjoy photographing the things that I want to eat, instead of actually eating them. I won’t bore you with a lot of food photos but I will keep you posted as I go.
Today’s post features a couple of examples of “photograph it, don’t buy it” and “photograph it, don’t eat it”.
