Mark Toal: On June 14 Mark will be conducting a Hybrid Photography Workshop for the Oregon Professional Photographers Association at the Pro Photo Supply Event Center from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
This class will take you through a Hybrid photo shoot from camera settings, lighting, music and sound to putting it together in the computer and uploading to YouTube or Vimeo. Bring your computer for this hands-on workshop. We will set up lights and microphones to film a scene during the class.
The goal of the class is to present through hands on demonstrations the tools needed to start shooting video as simply as possible. At the end of the class you will be able to go home and create your own short video and still Hybrid photo project.
Mark will also be speaking at their After Hours meeting on Thursday night, June 12 to get photographers warmed up for the class.
Joe Farace: In conjunction with Joe Farace Shoots Cars, Joe will conducting a Denver Area Car Show PhotoWalk at the Classic Rock Cruise in Castle Rock, Colorado on Saturday June 13, 2014. It’s an informal walk through the show, not a workshop, but a chance to socialize with readers of this blog and to share our enthusiasm for photography and cars.
Weather permitting, we’ll meet up on at 10:00 AM on Wilcox Street at the South End of the show near the traffic barricades. (I think it’s the 400 or 500 block of Wilcox, depending on what side of the street you’re on.) And then we’ll walk and enjoy the many kinds of cars on display. In case of inclement weather, check this post for updates.
