How I Made ‘Rat Rod Owner’

It’s Rat Rod wRensday….
The above photograph is another example of why I always carry a camera with me. I was in Lebanon, Tennessee for the Redneck Rumble, a meeting of Rat Rod car owners. I got up early on the day of the event and walked out in the parking lot of my hotel to check the weather and heard the rumble of a Rat Rod. I went over and talked to the owner through the car window. I asked if I could take his photo and as I raised the camera I saw his hand come up and I pressed the shutter.
I used a Panasonic Lumix LX100 in the Auto Mode, including auto ISO since I wasn’t sure what I would come across. The black and white conversion was done using Nik Sliver Efex software.
