Today’s Post by Mark Toal
One weekend a month I plan on only using one lens with my mirrorless camera. And I’ll take every photo for the entire weekend with just that one lens. From time to time, I feel like I’ve been concentrating too much on the technical side and ignoring the main reason I love using these small cameras; that the camera is always with me.
Talking about lenses and ISO quality is fine, but what really changed my photography when the Micro Four-thirds system was introduced was that I could easily carry these cameras with me almost everywhere. It changed my photography and in a lot of ways how I see the world around me.
On this particular weekend Jasmine and I went to the southern Washington coast to a small tourist town called Long Beach. I only used the Lumix 14mm f/2.5 ASPH lens along with the Lumix fisheye Conversion lens that I wrote about before. All of these images were processed in Adobe Lightroom with Google’s Nik Collection software.
