Wordless Wednesday # 17: Parishioner at Christian Orthodox Church – Romania

Today’s Post by Dave Hutchinson

This is a photojournalism shot that I made while visiting a Christian Orthodox Church in Constanta, Romania. The woman had no idea that I was taking the photo. I assume that she was a mourner, but I am really not sure. I didn’t disturb her. I was intrigued by her facial expression and her perfectly beautiful attire.

A reminder:

If you would like to have one of your images featured on Wordless Wednesday, please contact us via the CONTACT button above and we’ll e-mail directions and information about image size. The photograph can be any shape, vertical, horizontal, panoramic or even square. This is not a contest but prizes may (key word) be awarded to those images have the highest number of page views over a two-week period.

The most viewed WW in September was Ken MacAdams for Boggy Creek Bikes and he’ll be receiving a LensPen Pro-Photo Kit as a prize. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.

Fundraiser update: As of today we have achieved 79% of our goal. We appreciate your help and were able to pay some our bills but that’s not enough to keep us afloat until the end of the year. Please read the post, Help Support Mirrorless Photo Tips, and if you afford to make a donation, however small, please do.
