Choosing a Camera for a Week at CES

Today’s Post by Mark Toal

It’s time for my annual week long trip to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show. Since I’ll be working all week in the Panasonic booth and won’t have too much time for making photos. I’m trying to decide what camera to take. My main criteria are that that camera doesn’t get in the way and is easy to keep in a jacket pocket. Las Vegas city center walkway

In past years I’ve taken my favorite camera, the Lumix LX7 since it’s great in low light and very small. This year I’m going to try the Lumix GM5 with the 12-32mm and new 35-100 f/4-5.6 lens. Everything is very small and shouldn’t get in the way.

I’ll be in the Panasonic booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Tuesday, January 6th through Friday, the 9th. Please stop by and say hello. I’ll be posting photos here and on my Lumix camera blog when I get back from the show next weekend.
