A few of my favorite things: Peak Designs Cameras Bags & Straps

Today’s Post by Mark Toal

It’s that time of year when you need a Christmas present for the photographer in your life—or maybe yourself. This is a series of posts about my favorite accessories. I don’t mean ones that I admire or people have told me that they like, but ones that I use every day.

I started noticing Peak Design Camera straps and bags a couple of years ago when somebody gave me one of their modular camera straps at a trade show. I was attracted to the modular system that allows me to quickly change between a wrist strap, sling or shoulder strap, etc. I don’t need a strap for every camera that I own, I can have the anchors on every camera and quickly snap on the strap that I want to use. The Anchor Links attach to your camera and then you snap on whatever Peak Design strap you want to use.

I personally like the Cuff wrist strap and their new Sling Bag 5L that perfectly fits a mirrorless camera with an extra lens in a very small comfortable size bag. I have also used the Range Pouch for about a year to carry my small Panasonic Lumix LX10 camera. I love the new stylish camera bags that started appearing a couple of years ago and Peak Design makes some of the most beautiful and best made stuff that I’ve seen.
